On Wednesday, 6C performed our assembly.
Our theme was volcanos and earthquakes. We decided to fill it with lots of shaking and exploding. We worked long and hard on this assembly.
The way we presented our theme was in a form of a news report, with some students dressed up as the Red Cross giving disaster relief. It was a blast putting it together and presenting it. One of the highlights of the assembly was ending with the question, “Where is God in all of these natural disasters?” Part of the answer to this is that God has shown us what love is and so calls us to love others.
The Red Cross and other disaster relief foundations assist those affected by adversity out of a kindness and compassion for others. So the real question was, where are we in all this?
