The Year 9 students had the opportunity to participate in a formal etiquette session with Narelle Goodfield from Image Intelligence.
The session engaged our students in formal dining etiquette, greetings, handshakes, respect and numerous other skills. The concept is in preparation for both the Sons and the Daughters event to be held in Term 4 this year and for students to develop and learn numerous skills for the workplace and other events in the future.
With a balance between both humour and fact, Narelle both entertained and taught our students in a very practical way. Our formal etiquette session is part of the Year 9 Wellbeing Program, as we continue to focus our year around the concept of a ‘coming of age.’
